What is expedited service? You pay a higher rate so your movers can transfer your household or business goods on a specified date. How are fees calculated for interstate moves? Your moving company may charge you a set fee which depends on the inventory of your items and delivery timeframe. They may also charge you based on the weight or volume of your items. Do I have to hire packers or can I do this myself? You can certainly choose to pack your belongings and hire employees to transport them for you. However, you can also hire professional packers who are very experienced and have access to the proper packing equipment. What is a Bill of Lading? This is an official contract between you and your moving company. What is a moving kit? They don’t charge you for the time required to get to your destination and then back to their moving branch. Instead, they charge double the time for the actual move. Do I have to tip movers?
